The twenty-fifth anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants was celebrated on the SiIvaGunner channel with a channel event in 2024.

Summary

On January 19, 2024, during the Super MAGFest 2024 SiIvaGunner Panel, it was announced that an event dedicated to celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants would occur on May 1, 2024.

During the event, "Jellyfish Fields (PAL Version) - SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom" was set as the featured video for returning subscribers.

The avatar was changed to depict The Joke-Explainer™ 7000 as a blue aquatic creature with fins, with her skin using the textures from the interior walls of the Krusty Krab, her clothes taken from SpongeBob's standard outfit, a drawing of DoodleBob present in her antenna, and the background resembling Bikini Bottom. Her pose also resembles one of SpongeBob's stock artwork, specifically this one. The banner was changed to depict the lighthouse in the style of a building from Bikini Bottom, with the background also resembling Bikini Bottom and the rectangle at the bottom depicting SpongeBob with the colors and features of Grand Dad. The catchphrase was changed to "Are ye reading the channel description, kids?!", referencing the SpongeBob SquarePants opening theme. The event would conclude on May 2nd and the channel would be reverted back to its original state on May 3rd. Normal uploads would resume after the release of "Dog Check (Alpha Mix) - Deltarune" later in the day.
