Puyo Puyo Day was a channel event on the SiIvaGunner channel dedicated to the Puyo Puyo franchise in 2024.
Summary
On January 19, 2024, during the "Super MAGFest 2024 SiIvaGunner Panel", it was announced that a Puyo Puyo event would occur on February 4, 2024. It would later be announced on January 28 with several posts on social media.[1][2] According to the announcement and posts on social media, rips featuring Puyo Puyo music would be accepted into the event, including Madou Monogatari music and reskins of Puyo Puyo series. The choice of February 4 as the date of the event plays off goroawase (which uses symbols, numbers, and letters to make homophones) and the numbers 2 and 4 being read out as "Puyo".
During the event, the avatar was changed to artwork of The Joke-Explainer™ 7000 dressed as Amitie from the Puyo Puyo series, while the banner was changed to artwork in the Puyo Puyo art style, featuring the Tengami lighthouse to the right with Nozomi Tojo, Grand Dad, and Tito Dick to the left, alongside Puyos themed to the characters and Nozomi's tarot cards from Love Live! School Idol Project.
Rips were uploaded every 30 minutes.
