SpongeBob SquarePants is a TV-Show series created by Stephen Hillenburg and produced by Nickelodeon since 1999. It is also a major meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

Summary

SpongeBob SquarePants is the tenth Nicktoons animated TV-Show series created by former marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg and produced by Nickelodeon in 1999 for the TV channel of the same name. The series focuses on SpongeBob, a sponge who lives in an pineapple under the sea with his pet snail Gary. He lives next door to his closest neighbors, Patrick, SpongeBob's best friend, and Squidward, a grumpy octopus.

The series was first released on July 17, 1999, with the episodes "Help Wanted" and "Reef Blower" (episodes 1a and 1b, respectively), and achieved great success upon its first release. The series then turns into a major Nickelodeon franchise, receiving merchandise, films, games, spin-offs and more. And despite the current reputation of recent seasons, the show has continued to air ever since, with more than 10 seasons. With the popular episodes of the series coming in season 1-3.

As a result, the series received a huge community, gaining various fan arts, fan animations, memes, creepypastas, videos and much, much more. The most popular in the community are memes, which Nickelodeon has been noticing and referencing through its marketing, from merchandise to games like the official licensed ROBLOX game, SpongeBob Simulator.

The first rip featuring the main series was "Team Fortress 2 (Main Theme) (Beta Mix) - Team Fortress 2" on April 15, 2016, in which it features audio of Patrick saying "Wumbo" from the episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy IV". Since then, the series has been referenced most of the time, mainly by fan media or official media memes. Currently, the series only has one sub-meme, being "Electric Zoo", a track from the episode "Krab Borg".

The series received a two-days event for their 25th Anniversary on May 1, 2024, dedicared on featuring varies medias of the franchise, mostly by memes and fan-media. The event was announced during the Super MAGFest 2024 SiIvaGunner Panel on January 19, 2024 at Super MAGFest 2024.

King for Another Day Tournament

Main article: Mr. Krabs

In the King for Another Day Tournament, Mr. Krabs was a representative fighter in this tournament, with his tracks focusing on "Electric Zoo" from the episode "Krab Borg". The character was originally teased in the rip, "Stronger Than You - Steven Universe" on March 30, 2019, a medley serving as the character's trailer at the event.

The fighter unfortunately came in 18th place. However, the track that represented him would be frequently referenced since the event.
