"Meta Knight Defeated" (also known as "Revenge of Meta Knight Ending" and "My Friend and the Sunset") is a frequently ripped track from Kirby Super Star.
Summary
"Meta Knight Defeated" was composed by Jun Ishikawa for Kirby Super Star. It is used for the ending sequence of the "Revenge of Meta Knight" game-mode. Variants of the track have been used throughout the Kirby series since.
Kirby Super Star Ultra includes new renditions for the menu and ending of its "Revenge of the King" game-mode. The song's original use case is also carried over.
One of the unlockables in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is an original remix of "Meta Knight Defeated", available in the Music Room once obtained.
In, Kirby Planet Robobot's "Meta Knightmare Returns" game-mode, another new remix is used for the level results screen. Additionally, the track "Dedede's Tridimensional Cannon" is a combination of "Meta Knight Defeated" with "King Dedede's Theme".
