"Stickerbush Symphony" is a frequently ripped track from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, and a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

Overview

"Stickerbush Symphony (Bramble Blast)",[1] also known as "Brambles",[2], and sometimes spelled as "Stickerbrush Symphony" after the name used in the Game Boy Advance version, is the track that plays in Donkey Kong Country 2's bramble levels. According to David Wise, the game's composer, the song was almost scrapped due to it originally being composed for levels themed around water or clouds, which were absent in the final game, before being repurposed as a "thorny juxtaposition".[3]

An arrangement of the song, titled "Bramble Blast" by Michiko Naruke was used in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It notably has a slightly different structure compared to the original song. This version would later reappear in subsequent Super Smash Bros. games.

The song would later be rearranged again as "Savannah Symphony (Stickerbush Symphony Returns)" in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, this time by David Wise himself. It was used in the level Twilight Terror.

Originally it was an ambient track possibly for water or clouds - that almost didn't make it into the game. Fortunately, it eventually found life as a thorny juxtaposition." - Tweet by @David_Wise.
