Summary
"Marx's Theme", also known as "Vs. Marx" and "Meddlesome Marx",[1] is a track composed by Kirby series' long time composer Jun Ishikawa. First used in Kirby Super Star in the "Milky Way Wishes" game, it serves as the boss battle theme of Marx. The song is notable for its frequently changing time signatures, involving the signatures 3/4, 5/4, and 7/4.[2]
The track has been reused and rearranged in numerous other Kirby games, usually for battles against Marx or Marx Soul. It has a remix in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, as an unlockable music theme for the Halberd stage. The remix also reappears in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
