The eighth anniversary of the end of the Monochrome Pause was celebrated on the SiIvaGunner channel with a channel event on April 5, 2025.
Summary
All rips uploaded on April 5 were of games with monochrome thumbnails, similar to how rips uploaded during the Monochrome Pause used monochrome versions of other thumbnails. During the event, the avatar was changed to have the donut in Dr. Andonuts' hand recolored to be monochrome.
On April 6, Super Robot Wars X-Ω and Guitar Hero Metallica received new rips featuring their colored thumbnails. These games had previously only been ripped during the Monochrome Pause, and thus only had monochrome thumbnails. The Guitar Hero Metallica rip, which features "Magolor's Shoppe" as the joke, was also published after a community post from Dr. Andonuts announcing that The Joke-Explainer™ 7000 would return to hosting the channel, and the avatar and banner were changed back to the default ones.
