The Mashup Crusaders Arc was a story arc that took place on the SiIvaGunner channel during the later half of Season 1.
Premise
The Mashup Crusaders Arc tells about Mr Rental and his quest to ban all mashups so he can post more dank memes.
Summary
The story first began during "SiIvaDirect (7/11/2016) - The World Premiere of a Brand New High Quality Rip", which showed what would become the rip "Opening Music - Mr Rental: The Video Game", with it first showing Mr Rental in a world drawn in Microsoft Paint, driving back home after in his "crappily drawn car" while running over the word "mashups" and Homer Simpson.
The Mashup Crusaders Arc would be continued with the rip "Options - Mr Rental: The Video Game", which would further show Mr Rental's hatred for mashups, after seeing the rip "Main Theme - Metal Gear Solid" on TV that would make him shoot it with his Remington 870 Express Tactical shotgun and begin a killing spree with various people related to common sources in basic mashups, including Charles Barkley, Steve Harwell, MC Ride, and Childish Gambino, usually with his shotgun or driving them over with his car. The rip would end with Mr Rental planting a bomb at the HQR HQ, before jumping out of a window and the bomb exploding.
While this was happening, several rips of Looney Tunes would be uploaded that show a more peaceful version of Mr Rental in the style of old Looney Tunes cartoons, usually with him helping other memes that appear in the rip and giving a "moral of the day" to the viewer:
- In "Main Theme - Looney Tunes", he helps out Grand Dad, after Grand Dad was robbed by "Not SiIvaGunner" with an empty bag disguised as a high quality rip, with him running over "Not SiIvaGunner" in the same "crappily drawn car". The "moral of the day" given is that "SiIvaGunner only uploads high quality video game rips".
- In "Main Theme (Demo) - Looney Tunes", Mr Rental attempts to capture GRAND MA, however is unsuccessful, which leads to the "moral of the day" being that GRAND DAD and GRAND MA are meant to coexist with each other.
- In "Main Theme (Beta Mix) - Looney Tunes, Mr Rental gets a new car after his old one broke down, however doesn't look at the road while driving, resulting in him hitting Soulja Boy, which leads to the "moral of the day" seeing about keeping your eyes on the road.
As well as this, several other rips uploaded during this would featured Mr Rental in several forms, with some featuring him and his hatred for mashups as the main joke of the rip, such as with the rips "Unknown From M.E. (10th Anniversary Edition) - Sonic Adventure", "Title Screen (Demo) - Super Mario 3D Land", and "Intro Title / Minigame Theme - Barbie Horse Adventures: Blue Ribbon Race", while others would more feature him as one of the jokes, such as with "Slot Machine (Beta Mix) - Star Fox" and "Katamari Nah-Nah (Beta Mix) - Katamari Damacy".
The Mashup Crusaders Arc would supposedly come to an end with the rip "Slider - Super Mario 64DD", uploaded during the Season 1 Finale, which features Mr Rental getting into a car chase with the police after trying to kill Chip tha Ripper, ending with him abruptly crashing with an unknown object.
The Finale That Never Was
The story would officially come to an end on October 22, 2016, in the rip "Behind the Scenes - Mr Rental: The Video Game", where NBGMusic, the creator of the Mr Rental rips, explains that he had to cancel the finale, due to laziness.
During this, he would show the storyboard of the scrapped episode, which was supposed to show the Mr Rental of the Looney Tunes entering the MS Paint universe, after trying to enter his "crappily drawn car" that both universes share. After entering the MS Paint universe and walking around a bit, it would be revealed that the Mr Rental of the MS Paint universe is actually Mr Own, who would then get into a confrontation with Mr Rental, and the episode ending with it implying Mr Rental would kill Mr Own.
NBGMusic would explain that this twist of Mr Own was foreshadowed in the rip "Title Screen - Mr Rental: The Video Game", where Mr Own buys a phone outright, something Mr Rental would never do, because only chumps buys stuff outright.
A flashback episode was also planned, that would explain Mr Own's deep hatred for mashups, due to Chip tha Ripper killing his family, which would also explain why Mr Own's main target were Chip mashups. This episode also ended up being cancelled due to laziness.
PAINT & The Susie ARG
On December 19, 2024, the SiIvaGunner channel premiered "SiIva Direct 12.19.2024", a nonsensical presentation that - through deciphering Morse code at the tail end of the video - led to the discovery of the main website used for the Susie ARG.
Within the website contained a folder labeled "PAINT" - a folder primarily centered around the connection of the various minor universes and arcs across the channel, with the Mashup Crusaders Arc being one of them.
The penultimate reward for the branch was a Choose Your Own Adventure game spread across two videos - "Story Mode - Mr Rental: The Video Game" and "Story Mode - Looney Tunes" - accessed through a ViewSync link that played both videos simultaneously alongside one another. The videos detail the stories of Mr. Own and Mr. Rental swapping universes with one another after they are run over by 2B with the Crappily-Drawn Car. As the videos end, the player is given a choice to follow either the route of Mr. Own or Mr. Rental - allowing for 8 possible endings in each for a total of 16.
The events of the PAINT branch would soon be explained and elaborated upon in the video "Car Doors of Time ~ Side Story - Mr Rental: The Video Game".

- In "Unusual Circumstances - A SiIvaGunner Christmas Comeback Crisis Side Story", "Mr. Rental" (assumed to be Mr. Own) breaks through the court's wall while wielding a regular gun - which turns out to be the actual Mr. Rental wanting Wood Man to pay his rental fee.
