Community posts were introduced as a feature on YouTube in mid-2018. However, all posts made before the SiIvaGunner Termination in January 2019 were removed because of it.

The team has also mentioned that community posts were used during a copyright strike-induced break to announce the King for a Day Tournament. These are not included at the moment, as there are no archives of the posts.

	It is with some regret that today we announce that we have made the decision to delay the start date of the King for Another Day Tournament. This isn’t a decision we made lightly, of course, but, the people working hard to bring you this special event have been through so much this year and simply need more time to make this the best that it can be, and as good as it truly should be. We are still currently planning on launching the tournament before the end of Summer 2019 as planned, but, even if that date is missed, the tournament will not be cancelled. And remember, in the immortal words of Albert Einstein himself: “a rushed tournament is bad forever, but a delayed tournament can eventually be good”. 	Hello everyone, we want to thank you all again so much for the success of the Space Jam Charity SLAM!! We never expected this many donations, and we hope you all had as much fun as we did. Now, about requests. We weren't able to fit every request into the stream, because we didn't have enough time to play them all with the limited stream time we were allowed. If yours didn't show up, don't fret! We still have every request logged and will work to finish as many as we can. Some of them will end up being released throughout our SLAM!turdays. Near the end of the festival, we will have a compilation of every finished request that didn't make it to the stream premiered onto the channel. However, please remember the notes from the last announcement video: not every request can be guaranteed to be done, especially if it goes against the guidelines. Whether or not a request receives a channel upload will be up to the ripper, but all of them will be in the Charity SLAM! album. Don't worry, I've set-up a simple guide on how to submit during these rough times. 	Day 10 We’ve come a long way in the last few days. Together, Joke-Explainer and I have made it almost to the edge of that ‘calm zone’ we’d heard about. The last few days have been hard, especially seeing for myself that nowhere had escaped the devastation. Sometimes, I feel like I’d have turned around and given up if not for having someone by my side. J.E. always manages to come up with something amusing to lift my mood, even if she inevitably explains what makes it so funny afterward. Today saw a bit of a change in our fortunes, though. As the road took us through a wide forest, we came into a clearing and stumbled upon a big camp of other survivors. I was surprised to see one in such good shape. They were well-defended, but welcomed us when they saw we meant no harm. Turns out they’re just about on the border of the ‘calm zone’, but they couldn’t make camp any further north - the whole zone is loaded with radiation for miles around, and it only gets worse the farther in you go. The only survivor who’d managed to go all the way to the meteor’s crater was a fellow wooden man, the one called Geno. I’d met him before, but he didn’t remember me too well. And he seemed reluctant to talk about his adventure north. Well, that suits J.E. and I just fine. We can wait, and make our own way there once we learn enough to prepare ourselves. In the meantime, resting in a safe place and hearing the stories of other survivors doesn’t sound too bad.
	Day 11 Tonight is the first night here at the camp. We took turns telling our stories around the fire. Can't say many of them lifted the mood, but still, it’s interesting to hear how other people got this far. Most of the survivors were curious about a particular individual’s story, an old veteran. He didn’t seem intent on saying much of anything until asked. He goes by the name “Venom Snake", but others called him Big Boss. He looked familiar, like an old friend, but assured me he wasn’t who I thought he was. He told us that he and his army, the Diamond Dogs, achieved what was thought to be impossible - disarming every nuke in the world. That for a while, he had achieved world peace. That didn’t stay true for long, however, as slowly that whole mission became pointless. Someone had developed nukes again. He was stuck in a war without end. It almost makes you feel like our fate here on this planet was inevitable, even if the meteor had never existed. I could tell this was a man who'd lost everything... except his lust for revenge. As bitter as he may have looked, though, he wanted us to have hope. The last thing he said before leaving the fireside was: "There’s no tomorrow, but there’s still hope for the future. In our struggle to survive the present, we push the future farther away". I’ll remember these words, Boss.

	Day 14 Last night we were woken up by a great boom in the distance, then someone shouting like the world was about to end a second time. We ran out of our tent to see a trail of smoke rising up from the woods in the distance. The lookout said it was like a shooting star had fallen, flaming down into the trees. We went with a small party to investigate the site. Halfway there, J.E. turned on an infrared scan, and suddenly started pointing ahead excitedly. She’d detected three life forms! Finally, we found the crash site. And there, crawling out of a smoking, sputtering UFO, were three figures that could only be aliens. One was tall, thin, and gray. The other two were smaller and green, but with vastly different eyes. I recognized them, but I didn’t know if they’d remember me, so I didn’t say anything. Luckily, the medium-sized green one could speak. He explained, in his odd accent, that they’d been scouting in our lower atmosphere to figure out what had happened, when they were hit by an onslaught of lightning bolts that brought their ship spiraling down. We took them back to the camp, and gave them food and shelter. They said they’d be off soon, on their way to scavenge for parts to fix their ship, but they agreed to spend a couple days resting with us. And, to lift our spirits, they said they’d share with us some of their out-of-this-world music...
	Day 15 Tonight we were told the story of the Shadow Queen. A frighteningly short time ago, in a strange and far-off land, a big, shady town thrived. It was a town where all people led roguish lives. And it was said that the town was very notorious. But one day... a great evil that slept beneath this land was awakened. Evil forces had been at work, seeking the return of an ancient power. An underground army meant to control it, and use it to conquer the world. But the power could not be controlled. For it was the monstrous Shadow Queen, who had brought destruction to this land one thousand years before. And indeed, she was reawakened by the plots of her servants. Freed, surely she would bring calamity to the land, and fill the skies with darkness as she had done long ago. But hope remained in the form of one hero. An ordinary man who dared to face down the shadows. He fought the Shadow Queen, although it seemed impossible to destroy her. For a moment, it looked like all hope would be lost... but then strength came to the hero through the hope of his friends and all the people of the world. This gave him the power he needed to defeat the Shadow Queen, and seal her away forever. This was the tale of the Shadow Queen, the hero, and the Thousand-Year Door.
	Day 17 We’ve learned a lot in our week at the camp. For one, other places have it even worse than my city back home. Tsunamis and earthquakes on the coasts, long-dormant volcanoes erupting, even freaking tornadoes tearing up the countryside. The lightning storms in the skies tipped me off that there was something more to this apocalypse than just a meteor strike, but now it was even more obvious. It was almost like, since the meteor hit, something had been affecting the entire planet. Or infecting it. But that’s not all. We finally learned the one story we’d most been anticipating - Geno’s. It was late last night by the fire, when all but the three of us had retired to their tents. Maybe we just caught him in the right mood, or maybe it was because he couldn’t say no when J.E. asked, “Please, Mr. Geno,” in her sweetest voice, “If I’m going to archive everything, I need to know what happened to you. Especially before we go to the crater ourselves, you know?” Geno was taken aback - he didn’t know we meant to go there. J.E. giggled and said that was dramatic irony. He tried to convince us it was a mistake, but once he realized we were deadset, he sighed and finally relented. So he told us. Four weeks ago, not long after arriving at the camp, he’d set off to investigate the crater to the north. He was the only one who could survive the radiation, since he was non-organic, so he went alone. After about a week’s travel, he’d made it to the lip of the crater. There, he saw the meteor. Only, it didn’t look like any meteor he’d ever seen. It was black, and perfectly round. Plus, any normal meteor would’ve disintegrated the moment it hit the ground. Wary but unable to shake his curiosity, he set off on the long walk to the crater’s center, where he came face-to-face with the object. It was resting neatly on the ground, not even partially embedded. He had no instruments with which to measure it. So he did the obvious thing, and touched it. He has no memory of what happened next. The others at the camp told him they found him a mile north the next day, barely conscious and babbling incoherently. They brought him back and nursed him back to health, but he didn’t regain his sanity until the camp doctor - an eccentric German man with a history as a mercenary - invented a special needle to extract the memories that were causing him such distress. They were placed on a storage drive, and Geno woke up, back to normal - if not completely whole. Both J.E. and I were stunned into silence. Geno took the chance to warn us one more time against going to the crater. “Only madness waits there,” he said. I was inclined to agree. But as Geno wandered off back to his tent, J.E. looked at me sternly. “This only makes it more important that we go there,” she insisted. “We need to see this for ourselves. We can bring equipment to research it. Then if we can’t learn what it is, I can archive it. Maybe someone, someday, will learn how to destroy it.” She was right. This morning, we told the camp our plans to leave, and we started preparing. And to my shock, Geno said he’d accompany us - halfway there, that is. I couldn’t turn him down. So it looks like we’ll be taking our leave of the camp soon, as a party of three.
	Day 19 Tonight was our last night at the camp before we take off for the crater tomorrow. And boy, did we hear an ominous story to end our time here. It was told by a retired actor. At the time it began, he was preparing for his next film, a survival drama set in the woods. He was busy rehearsing in a nearby forest, where he thought he was alone. But a shiver ran down his spine as he heard someone behind him. When he turned around, he saw a strange kid made out of wood - wearing this freaky mask with glowing eyes. “What’s with all the noise?” the kid said. “Are you having fun without me? You'd better not be!”. The actor brushed the kid off, but he continued to pester him. The older man was soon fed up. He shouted, “What do you say we cut the chit-chat, a-hole?” The mysterious kid grew furious. “What’s with that stupid face of yours?! Let me do you a favor and show you how stupid you really look!”. He proceeded to hypnotically nod his head, and before the actor knew it, he’d passed out. He awoke in a clock tower, in a land he didn’t know. He went outside, only to see that everyone, and everything, had his face on it. The kid was perched on top of the tower, the mask he wore now having the man’s face. The kid gave a parting sneer and giggle, then vanished. The actor barely made it out alive, and as he left, he looked to the sky to see the horror of a moon preparing to crash itself into the little town… a town of citizens who looked exactly like him.
	Day 22 We’ve spent two days on the road to the crater now. Today, as the three of us ate our rations at the roadside, I had a strange feeling - that tonight was going to be a good night. There was no real reason for that considering our current situation, though I guess it’s good to have a little hope every once in a while. Not long after, Joke-Explainer said she detected a presence nearby, I was unsure if she meant good or bad. Then I saw something in the distance that had to be what she meant. It was some sort of giant robot, tromping down the road and coming our way. In a panic, we hid behind a car and waited... but then music started coming out of its massive metal body. That’s when it started to dance around the abandoned road, stomping cracks into the asphalt and crushing cars underfoot. Honestly, I thought the radiation had gotten to my head, but then four living, breathing people came out covered in leather armor, toting guns that had speakers for barrels. As if things couldn’t get stranger, the robot and the group started to have a dance-off with one another, while simultaneously shooting at each other with shock waves from their music. It was getting so loud all anyone could hear was loud booms. Whatever the hell was happening, I just knew we had to get out of there before we were spotted, or worse, crushed. While sneaking away, I looked back and caught a name on the back of the gang’s jackets. They called themselves the “Black Eyed Peas”. If they can do all that in the middle of an apocalypse, I’ve got a feeling their energy will never die.
	Day 25 We’re getting closer and closer to the meteor’s impact site, the northern crater. After weeks, I feel like our journey is finally coming to a close, though I can’t say if that means finding a solution to this madness... or dying before we can. Anyway, there’s now this essence of sorts all over the ground below us. It’s green and transparent, it’s as if it was some reflection of the Aurora Borealis…but at this time of day? Geno corrected me. He said it was called the “Lifestream”, a sight he never thought he would live to see. He learned about it from an old friend, a hero by the name of Cloud. Apparently, it’s the essence of all the memories and emotions that make up life. What we’ve been stepping over are the souls of the dead - spirits who have become one with the world. I was a bit freaked out at first, but gradually Geno helped me see the sorrowful beauty of it. J.E. wondered, had this essence been under our planet the entire time? Apparently, it not only had, but it emerged to try to ward off the meteor before it crashed. Unfortunately, without the help of what Geno referred to as “Holy”, it was no match for the force of the meteor. It’s almost like this planet was destined for destruction. But even with that depressing thought in mind, seeing the afterlife right under my toes gave me strength. I had a feeling these souls were cheering us on, to keep going, and to find out the answer to all of this. I just want to do everything in my power to help. All of those souls - and everyone still on the planet.
	Day 30 We’re just a day away from the crater now. But that also means we’re on our own from here on out. While we were making our campsite for the night, Geno told us this was where he’d be turning back. J.E. tried to convince him to stay with us, but I knew it would be fruitless. He didn’t want to get anywhere near that meteor, or whatever it was, a second time. He told us that he’d sleep here tonight, but he’d be gone by the time we woke up. But first, he wanted to give us a parting gift. He held out his hand, revealing a small object. It was the drive with his locked-away memories. I wasn’t sure what to make of it, but J.E. grabbed it from his open palm eagerly. She looked almost like she was about to access it herself, but Geno stopped her. He said that we should only use it if we were desperate, and had no other choice. I wasn’t sure what that meant - after all, if we couldn’t figure out the meteor’s deal, we could always turn around and go back to the camp, right? - but I nodded and assured him we wouldn’t use it unless we had to. We all went to bed, and sure enough, this morning Geno was nowhere to be seen. J.E. and I met each other’s eyes, and I could see her hopeful determination. I’m sure all she saw in mine was grim resolve. Though I still have no idea if we can do anything to stop this apocalypse, everything we’ve seen together has convinced me that there’s no point in giving up now. We’re going to see this through, one way or another. Just a short way left to go.

Due to the high number of submissions received for the event, we've decided to extend the duration of the takeover to 2 days. As a result of the extension, this year's winter event and the winter SiIva Direct will now occur a day later than initially planned. The new premiere date for the Direct will be December 18th, 2024. Honestly, I'm a little relieved with this development as there have been so many channel events lately that it's getting hard for me to keep up with running the channel. I might've taken on a bit more than I could handle this year, so I certainly appreciate the breathing room! Kleiner: Not even the overwhelming might of the Combine could manage to discover a more stable method. It was this crucial technology that acted as the lynchpin of our resistance. Kleiner: So if you have any information at all regarding a more convenient alternative, I urge you to share it! It may be of use, should such a situation arise again! Engineer: Alright alright, easy there Kleiner! Don’t want you losin’ your head over this. Engineer: Let’s see… In terms of construction, it ain’t all that complex. Just bog-standard entrance and exit models, the displacement module detects anything directly above it and sends it through. I reckon I don’t need to tell you whatcha already know about the matter displacement process. Engineer: Has some trouble with certain wheat-based products, but we’re workin’ on it. Kleiner: Hold on, why is that? Engineer: Course, the key to all this is hookin’ them up to some Australium. And if I were a bettin’ man, that’s probably where the problem lies. I’d like to congratulate your comparatively meager human mind for managing to achieve results previously thought impossible by man. Kleiner: For pity’s sake, I intended nothing of the sort! I merely meant that I find the technology involved with your creation to be intriguing. GLaDOS: Oh, I know. You must have never seen anything quite like it during your tenure at Black Mesa. Hell, it’d be easier if you asked me what it can’t do! It can increase intelligence and muscle mass, caused the greatest technological advancements known to Mann, and have I mentioned immortality? Of course, that’s a family secret. Kleiner: Remarkable! For one substance to be capable of so much… It’s almost like magic! Engineer: Nah, it’s all strictly scientific. If you wanna talk about magic, that’s a whole can of worms on its own. Kleiner: …Do you mean to imply that “magic” exists where you’re from? Engineer: Well sure, but it ain’t exactly my wheelhouse. You’d have to get in touch with Merasmus if you wanna know the particulars. Kleiner: And who is this “Merasmus” you speak of? Engineer: Oh, just some wizard fella that shows up sometimes. Soldier apparently pissed him off a while back, so he hassles us every Halloween. So I’m not exactly able to shed any light on those intervening years for you. Kleiner: Yes, of course. But however long it may have taken, you were woken up, were you not? Did you perchance collect any data on the state of the world at that time? GLaDOS: I saw a deer. Kleiner: Is… that it? That can’t be all you know! GLaDOS: I don’t care for the outside. It never interested me much. But if you must know, the last time I looked up there it seemed quite peaceful. So it’s likely the conflict either ended with your victory, or complete annihilation. Whichever makes you feel better.

GLaDOS: I hate to say it, but I know exactly what you’re talking about. An unyielding resolve. An unshakeable tenacity. And completely taciturn. It almost makes me upset. Kleiner: Oh, so you know him as well? My, what must he have gotten up to during those intervening years… GLaDOS: Him? I’m afraid you’ve lost me. Kleiner: Were you… not referring to Gordon Freeman? GLaDOS: You mean the one that doomed our whole planet? No, I was talking about Chell, the madwoman who murdered me and nearly destroyed my facility. I suppose I can understand the confusion, however. It seems wanton destruction is a talent they share. Kleiner: Oh, stop it with that. Yes, Gordon may have been at the epicenter of many troublesome events, and he may even carry a significant portion of the blame for the Resonance Cascade. But I struggle to think of anyone involved that could claim to be blameless for the event. Kleiner: Whatever the case may be, it is my personal opinion that Gordon Freeman does what is needed of him. Should the similarities hold true, I would assume a similar sentiment for the both of our games’ respective ‘protagonists’, so to speak. Engineer: Hey fellas, what’re y’all talkin’ about? GLaDOS: Protagonists. Main characters. The ones all the action surrounds in the games we’re from. Engineer: Shoot, I figure me and my team all count as ‘protagonists’ by that definition. 	Goodness, I'm aware that April Fools' Day tends to be chaotic, and I had a lot to live up to in regard to the day's legacy. But that was... quite a lot. Of course, I have nobody to blame but myself. I intentionally chose this theme in particular as a form of... let's call it "immersion therapy". My thinking was that it would be beneficial for me to better acquaint myself with other worlds of fiction. "Worlds within worlds" may seem like a novel concept for this event, but more importantly it is pertinent to my own personal hangups... I am a fictional character. I've understood this for a while now. This understanding caused me a great deal of strife. But recently, I've attempted to internalize the notion that being fictional doesn't mean I matter any less. These games may not exist to you. Many of them do not exist to myself, either. And yet, they still exist to someone. Isn't that remarkable? I look upon the characters in these games and can't help but feel deep pangs of sympathy and envy all rolled into one. They may spend the rest of their lives never getting to learn about their true nature. Perhaps this innocence leads to a life of falsehood. Perhaps it is a blessing. Nevertheless, I felt it was my obligation to give all of these games a chance in the spotlight they may never have had otherwise. I hope you enjoyed the experience.

	Greetings, Joke-Explainer. Dr. Andonuts contacted me and asked how I was handling running the channel, since it had apparently taken a toll on you while you were running it by yourself last year. I hadn't realized it since I was so busy, but I haven't talked with my friends in a while, and I've been missing them. High quality rips don't laugh at your jokes, after all. And I wasn't doing nearly as much active stuff outside as I used to do. If Sportacus saw how lazy I've become, he… well, I don't think he would be mad at me, but he would encourage me to be healthier and be a better person in my own way. Dr. Andonuts told me a little about how you work, and that even though you're an electronic device, "you have a very big heart". According to the doctor, you showed him a lot of kindness and support in the past, and he wanted to "pay it forward", whatever that means. I'm not really sure how robot hearts are supposed to work - Pixel was always the one who knew more about computers - but it seems you have more feelings than I initially thought, and that some of those feelings may have been hurt when I took over the channel again during the month of June (which is mine). That's why I want to apologize for my behavior towards you (which I'm ashamed to say is also mine), especially over the last month. As part of my apology, Dr. Andonuts suggested that I explain myself and my previous actions with the SilvaGunner channel a little more. When I came across m̶y̶ your laptop while it was logged into the SilvaGunner channel, I couldn't believe my eyes. Everyone knows that his rips are high quality, after all! It was left unattended, so I had thought the best course of action would be to keep the channel going while SilvaGunner - or whoever was previously running the channel - was absent. So I learned how to make high quality rips of my own, and started uploading my videos to the channel. And I really enjoyed it! I claimed more and more and more and more and more sources as mine, until one day I claimed everything on the channel! I hosted a couple of events and even released an album. It was so much fun… and then you came in and took it all away from me. I know now that you came back for what was rightfully m̶i̶n̶e̶ yours, but it happened so suddenly. I couldn't let everything I had done go away so easily. So when you mentioned coming to an agreement… I got an idea. I wrote the contract, giving the laptop and the SilvaGunner channel back to you, but I included a little extra clause so that I could have another chance at running the channel during my month. I also hadn't realized that when I took over the channel the second time, I'd be interrupting m̶y̶ your birthday of all days. I didn't think much of it at the time, but Dr. Andonuts wanted me to imagine how I would feel if my own birthday was taken away from me. I have to admit, if someone took away my birthday, I would be really, really mad! Nobody has the right to treat Stingy that way! The month of June is mine, and I'm a stickler for honoring contracts, but I should have let you keep my your birthday at the very least. So… I'm sorry for tricking you, and I'm sorry for taking m̶y̶ your special day away from you. Now that my contract has expired, I hereby return the other belongings that were in that storage facility back to you. They're still mine, but I'm willing to share.
