This joke list is incomplete! Please listen to the rip and help fill out these pesky missing spaces. |
The opening of the rip is extended and loops until 0:37. At 0:22, "Nimbasa City Gym: Stage" from Pokémon Black & White 2 plays (with a longer "Give me what I need"). From 0:33 to 0:36, the song "Activate" from Machinima's Arby 'n' the Chief (from the episode "Low on Hearts") plays. At 0:37, the rip becomes a mashup of the advertised track and "Sex Offender Shuffle" by Scott Gairdner. At 1:07 and 1:19, two unknown Persona 4 sound effects play after the lyrics "Vernon Douglas is my name" and "Just strap on my boots and watch me go". To coincide with the audio "glitch" in "Sex Offender Shuffle", at 1:42 the rip's audio becomes distorted. At 1:48, "Snow halation" is briefly added to the mashup during the saxophone solo. The muted sound of Loud Nigra plays at 2:22. At 2:45, a woman's voice saying "How dare you do that to Senpai!" plays instead of the shotgun sound in "Sex Offender Shuffle".
The inclusion of "Sex Offender Shuffle" is most likely a nod to the level "Striptease" plays during in Persona 4. This level features an under-aged character performing sexually suggestive acts, so the joke of the rip is that playing this level is akin to committing a sex offense.
Trivia
- "Marukyu-Inaba" is a reference to Marukyu Striptease, the level "Striptease" plays in, and Magatsu Inaba, the dungeon of Persona 4.
