"AirPod Shotty" is an Among Us fan-parody of "Gassed Up" by Nebu Kiniza, created by FNMeka on TikTok. Its primary reason for usage on the SiIvaGunner channel is to represent the broader, more central meme of Among Us.
Last time when I tried to tackle the issue of Among Us' multisource, AirPod Shotty was very contentious, with some feeling it had relevancy outside of Among Us. Despite this, the trends of AirPod Shotty align exactly with the other Among Us sources introduced in Season 5. The only non-Among Us associated usage was a cameo appearance in the CCC.
I'd argue this isn't enough to label it separate from the broader meme-multisource of Among Us.
In this proposal I have 4 options for you to choose from:
- "AirPod Shotty" will have its page cut, its category put into an Among Us shell category in a similar fashion to Big Chungus and its information listed on the Among Us page in a similar fashion to Big Chungus. If you agree with this, support this proposal.
- "AirPod Shotty" will keep its page and meme status, but also have a blurb and category link on the main Among Us page. If you agree with this, vote with a restructure stating you want to go with option 2.
- "AirPod Shotty" will have its page AND category cut, and no longer be considered a meme. If you agree with this, vote with a restructure stating you want to go with option 3.
- "AirPod Shotty" will remain exactly as it is. If you agree with this, oppose this proposal.
My vote is in support of condensing Airpod Shotty into the broader Among Us meme. 
Note: we are going to be focusing on one song at a time so please don't bring other Among Us songs into the conversation until we get to them in the next proposal.
my take hasnt changed since previous threads i think in my ideal world this and trap remix r just left alone while the others get killed
that does confuse me just a bit due to the nature of those sources, airpod shotty is considered an "among us meme" even if among us is only one component, and trap remix is the honorary main theme of the game and its online culture
same thing that happened to among us irl should happen to this. it's part of the broader among us meme so it should be mentioned on its page instead of a separate one, but still notable enough to have its own meme category

It is used more, yes, but the fraction of solo uses is almost 3 times smaller than the usage with other among us sources. It has no solo identity. I would cut it entirely but I will support the consistency of option 1 instead.
well i would want it to be something more official so its on the big list of stuff to do

this is actually so confusing to me
you are insane if you think an airpod source would randomly be used 72.9% of the time with among us which has no ties to airpods
it being OVERWHELMINGLY used with among us sources is proof that they are tied to one another as being parts of the same meme
and even then option 1 just condenses the info to one page which isnt even deleting the meme it just makes the info about all among us memes easier to locate and read through

- disingenuously implies that it is more separate from among us than among us irl (it is not)
- makes reading about extensions of the among us meme pointlessly harder
I can accept that people think it is notable enough to keep a category, but keeping the info on a separate page feels like its actively taking away from making info on the among us meme concise. airpod shotty is clearly used more often than not as an extension of the among us meme, and keeping the info on a separate page makes the full picture of the extent of among us on the channel less easy for the average wikigoer to see.
I don't know if I'll stand by this point when the trap remix thread eventually comes around however

well, more accurately, 2 of the messages were bouncing off of what you said but the emotion of those messages was not at any person. I dont hate anyone for voting to keep the airpod shotty page i just have distain for the idea itself
