Jokes
At 0:02, the Windows 98 startup sound begins playing over the advertised track.
The initial title of this rip, "Start-Up Opening - Super Mario Maker", as well as the joke of the rip, are likely used here to falsely signal an ending to the Reboot, as the the rip that started the event features a Windows crash screen. Additionally, the catchphrase includes "Welcome." at the end of it. The rip immediately following this one, "Bowser's Theme (Beta Mix) - Super Mario 64", continues with the fake ending.
The catchphrase for this rip initially read "Read the channel description, please. Welcome." Following the release of the next rip, it was changed to "Please read the channel description. Welcome.", using the standard version of the catchphrase instead of the reboot version to make it seem even more like the event was over.
History
This rip was originally titled "Start-Up Opening - Super Mario Maker". After another rip titled "Intro - Super Mario Maker" was uploaded, the naming of the rips was standardized, with the newer rip being renamed to "Intro (OST Version) - Super Mario Maker".
