"Game Over - Back to the Future (NES)" is a high quality rip of "Game Over" from Back to the Future (NES).

Jokes

No elements of the advertised track are present in this rip.

Instead, this is an edit of The Irate Gamer episode which covered the advertised game, but with the following changes:

  • All people and characters are eliminated from the footage, including the gameplay and the Back to the Future film poster.
  • No audio is present except for a loop of ambient white noise.
  • All notable text is partially or completely erased, and many numbers are set to zero when they appear at all.
  • The "Hill Valley" map is edited to remove all the locations and have more trees placed around.
  • The movie theater has its curtains shut, and the scene "outside" the box office is instead a blanked edit of a image of The Office Seasons 1-5 box set.
  • All counters in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past footage are empty.

This changes at 6:49, where the Irate Gamer fades back into existence, at the same moment in the original video where he fades away. From this point on, the footage of the Irate Gamer is normal, but the video game characters are still missing. As well as that, when the Irate Gamer plays Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, the music is replaced with "Title Screen" from that game, but without the leading melody. At 7:05, the Irate Gamer is sentence-mixed to say, "Why couldn't they make a cool game, like GRAND DAD? It was cool!"
