"Wood Man Stage - Mega Man 2" is a high quality rip of "Wood Man Stage" from Mega Man 2.

Jokes

This rip is a rendition of "mm2wood" using the instruments from the advertised track. The MIDIJam video has a pixelated effect, mimicking (badly) the NES's limited capabilities.

This was the first "final" rip posted during the Season 1 Finale. Despite this, it's completely unrelated to the ending. The rip's actual purpose was to introduce "mm2wood" as a future meme for the next event, The SilvaGunner Spooktacular Halloween Horror Special.

History

This video was formerly in the Haltmann's Archives playlist. Like other non-Haltmann's Archives uploads, it was removed from the playlist on March 11, 2025.

Trivia

  • Chaze the Chat gave an explanation for why this rip was uploaded during the Season 1 Finale, stating that "mm2wood happened because that midi is funny as hell and we thought it'd be funny to put on the channel"[1], although it should be noted that this was stated before the Halloween event happened.
  • In the lore, Wood Man uploaded this rip without SiIvaGunner's knowledge.[2] This is also consistent with SiIvaGunner saying there will be 5 final rips when there was actually 6 (plus 1 fake-out removed rip), but the sixth rip was "Mute City Ver. 2 - Super Smash Bros. for Wii U" according to Chaze.
  • This rip was renamed, along with the other Mega Man 2 Robot Master stage themes, to have the word "Stage" at the end of the song name, on or before March 3, 2019.[3]
