Jet Set Radio is video game series developed by SmileBit and published by Sega. It is a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel.

Summary

Jet Set Radio was originally released in 2000 for Dreamcast. Developed by SmileBit and published by Sega, the game was centered around a gang of skaters traversing Tokyo. It was well regarded for its soundtrack, graphics, and soundtrack and many consider it one of the best video games ever made. A sequel for the game would release in 2002 titled Jet Set Radio Future. The game received about the same reception the original had.

Rips

Jet Set Radio first became frequent on the channel during Season 1, where it mainly showed up within mashup rips. This frequency would continue right into late Season 2.

During the King for a Day Tournament, one of the many contestants revealed was DJ Professor K. His sourcelist consisted of anything that was related to Hideki Naganuma, one of the composers for Jet Set Radio. During this tournament, he would get fifteenth place after being beat by Etika. He would return in the King for Another Day Tournament, now with Sega games under his sourcelist. During the tournament, he would score a win against every contestant he was put up against and would be crowned the winner of the tournament.

As a prize for beating the tournament, DJ Professor K would host his own takeover during the SiIvaSummer All-Star Festival. The event would last over a week and all rips uploaded during it followed his sourcelist shown in the tournaments. During the event, the fake game Jet Set Radio Evolution was introduced to the channel as a way to upload Naganuma styled remixes. The event would end with the announcement of DJ Professor K Presents: 24/7 FUNKY FRESH BEATS FROM TOKYO-TO, an album compiling rips from the event.

During Season 9, the 25th anniversary of the game's release was celebrated with the Jet Set Radio Evolution SIIVA Original Tracks Vol. 0 + 1 Release Party. It was focused on the release of the Jet Set Radio Evolution SIIVA Original Tracks ~ Vol. 0 and Jet Set Radio Evolution SIIVA Original Tracks ~ Vol. 1 albums. These albums compiled rips of Jet Set Radio Evolution.
