Bowflex is a brand of fitness training equipment. It is a meme on the SiIvaGunner channel, specifically referenced through its commercials.
Rips
According to Yodooder, he was watching his friend play Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga around 2014 and thought that the track "Hunting (Rare Devil)" sounded like something that would play in a Bowflex commercial, using the website YouTube Doubler to show this, with him and his friends finding it hilarious.[1] He later remembered this moment and decided to recreate the joke on SiIvaGunner, starting with the rip "Normal Battle (Alpha Mix) - Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne", in which the battle theme plays over a Bowflex commercial. Several similar rips were then created, with most of them being rips of rock music to best fit with the commercials.
Later rips, starting with "Push Me Under Water - Yakuza 2", would feature original voice-overs as well (e.g. "Start OF THE END - Yakuza: Dead Souls"), or parody the track being ripped with lyrics referring to Bowflex ("Sahasrara - Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga", "Life Will Change - Persona 5").
"Virtical Point - Yakuza Kiwami" features an original live-action parody of Bowflex advertisements. The release of this marked the end of regular Bowflex rips, with later references being much more sporadic.
