April Fools' Day 2023 was celebrated on the SiIvaGunner channel with a channel event on April 1, 2023.

Summary

All uploads during the event were based on previous SiIvaGunner videos, either by directly editing the videos themselves or featuring related jokes. However, the event was not limited to simply past rips, as it also had uploads based on lore videos, SGFR remixes, announcements, streams, removed rips, the original titles of renamed rips, non-reuploaded GiIvaSunner rips, temporary titles used briefly during streams and premiered videos, the event's own videos, and even a few of SiIvaGunner2's videos (most of which were released on SiIvaGunner2 itself). Each upload copied the metadata of the video it was based on, and added the mix name "Beta Mix". Several rips would also copy older thumbnails that the rips used, though did not apply to all rips.

Notably, "Beta Mix" would still be added on top of rips that already had mix names, which led to recursion when the event referenced itself, with one rip reaching 20 mix names. Additionally, in a few cases where adding "Beta Mix" to a past rip's title would conflict with a different past rip, the title would use two or more instances of "Beta Mix" despite referencing the older rip(s).

There were also several running jokes throughout many of the rips, including:

Minion jokes being replaced with jokes related to Rabbids, both being of characters with similar personalities.
Deez Nuts jokes being replaced with jokes related to Damn Daniel, both being popular Vine memes.
Rips with jokes that were covers, parodies, or songs that sample the songs used in the original rips.
Rips featuring Chaze the Chat being edited to only include instances of him saying "um".
Rips that referenced another pair of rips with the same joke.
Rips that had related jokes being uploaded together.
Rips with their jokes inverted.
Rips featuring references to "The Game".

Rips were initially uploaded every 15 minutes. The only exception to this was with the release of four rips from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories II, which were released a minute apart, in reference to the "Chain of Memories II Day" event. After a great influx of rips of "Trailer Sting" from Garten of Banban uploaded in one-minute intervals, rips were uploaded extremely rapidly at a highly variable rate.

Partway through the event, the avatar and banner were changed to photocopied versions of themselves, referencing the derivative nature of the event. Later in the day, the avatar was reverted, while the banner was changed to an edited version of the regular one with the Tito Dick head now visibly frustrated. The second banner did not immediately go away after the conclusion of the event.

This event also saw the release of the "albums" Mediatonic's HighestQuality Video Game Rips Volume WOO and GilvaSunner's Highest Quality Video Game Rips Volume 5 (Beta Mix), as well as the creation of the playlists "five nights of course clear (beta mix)" and "Uploads from SiIvaGunner (Beta Mix)". After the end of the event, most of the rips were later added to their games' respective playlists. Rips that were based on unlisted rips were themselves unlisted, as well as the rip "TRONGER wav (Beta Mix)".

With a total of 248 rips, this event set a new record for the most amount of videos uploaded in 24 hours to the SiIvaGunner channel.
The rip "Against the Black Knight (Beta Mix) - Super Smash Bros. Brawl" from Funny 7 Day (another event where all rips also had the mix name "Beta Mix") would be valid for the April Fools' Day 2023 theme, as it "rips" "Against the Black Knight - Super Smash Bros. Brawl".
