"A Secret Course - Super Mario Sunshine" was a high quality rip of "A Secret Course" from Super Mario Sunshine.
Jokes
The melody has been changed to "All Star".[1][2][3][4]
In this rip, the finger-snapping normally featured in "Secret Course" is replaced by a percussion instrument. This was probably an error. As well, at 0:05 an audio popping glitch sound plays, also an error, as the upload on SoundCloud fixes this.
Like most of the first ten GiIvaSunner rips, this rip features a background image change. At 0:07, the background logo changed to "Onions Make You Cry 3", a Shrek-themed Far Cry 3 parody artwork created by Matbox99.
History
This rip was uploaded on the original GiIvaSunner channel on January 14, 2016.[1] It was the seventh upload to the channel, and marks the first appearance of "All Star" on the channel.
The next day, on January 15, 2016, an updated version of this rip was uploaded under the title of "A Secret Course (High Quality) - Super Mario Sunshine". This version replaces the percussion instrument with the proper finger-snapping, the "All that glitters is gold / Only shooting stars break the mold" part is performed by a sole bass instrument with the melody of that part also changed, and the audio popping issue fixed. This rip was then changed to replace the "Playlist:" line in the description with a "High Quality:" line, linking to the updated version.[1] Both rips coexisted until the channel's termination.
This rip hasn't been officially reuploaded since the channel's termination. "A Secret Course (High Quality) - Super Mario Sunshine", however, was eventually reuploaded under the title of "A Secret Course - Super Mario Sunshine", essentially taking this rip's spot. Since the reupload of "Megalovania - Undertale" in 2018, this rip became the oldest one without an official reupload. If the remake is counted, then the title went to "Luigi's Mansion - Mario Kart DS" instead.
